Here's a favorite! Black Oil Sunflowers are fast-growing sunflowers with large heads that attract pollinators in the summer and birds in the fall. This familiar classic reaches 6-8 feet tall usually with one flower per stem, although there are often plants that produce several medium-sized flower heads instead.  

It is an annual and is best planted after frost in the Spring.
